There's No Middleman So We Pass The Savings On To You. All Sawmilling, Cutting, Drying & Finishing Is Done On-Site.
Made from trees ranging from 100 to 250 years old, your longleaf heart pine flooring is hand selected from old growth forests in Georgia and brought to H.V. & T.G. Thompson Lumber Co.'s sawmill for cutting, drying, and finishing. We make stair treads out of the same grade of pine flooring that you order so they always match. All flooring comes in unfinished 3/4-inch thick tongue and groove boards.
You do not need to use a heavy belt sander on these floors. You will only need a lightweight vibrating sander. Once your floors have been sanded, we recommend applying four coats of a water-based professional grade polyurethane.

All the lumber that we mill has been kiln-dried. This process kills all wood-eating insects and eggs present in the wood at the time of drying. Although we take many steps to prevent insect infestations in the wood on our premises, we cannot control the environment our product enters after it leaves our possession. Therefore, we will not refund, replace, or make any other reparation for infestation of wood-eating insects in our wood products after it leaves our custody.
